Medi Response provides professional aeromedical evacuation and in-flight critical care services across Africa. Our operations are led by qualified medical personnel and supported by robust logistical systems designed to reach patients in even the most remote or challenging locations.
With a focus on safety, clinical excellence, and coordinated response, Medi Response supports individuals, companies, and organisations operating in high-risk environments, particularly those within the mining, oil and gas, construction, and remote industrial sectors.
From initial activation to patient handover, every mission is managed with precision, care, and medical oversight appropriate to the condition and context.
Each aeromedical evacuation is shaped by clinical priorities, operational feasibility, and regional infrastructure, with case-specific planning conducted by the Global Coordination Centre.

The Global Coordination Centre (GCC) conducts a clinical and logistical assessment of the case upon receiving a request.

An appropriate aircraft, flight crew, and medical team are assigned. Simultaneously, necessary clearances, ground ambulance support, and acceptance by the receiving hospital are arranged.

The patient is retrieved and stabilised for transfer. The medical team manages care throughout the flight in coordination with the GCC.

Upon arrival, the patient is transferred to the designated medical facility. The GCC oversees the full mission, maintaining continuous communication and support.
Medi Response provides medically supported air transport for patients requiring urgent evacuation, stabilisation, or repatriation. Our operations are structured to manage complex logistical and clinical challenges, including the retrieval of critically ill or injured individuals from remote or resource-limited environments. This includes support for individuals with severe medical conditions or those requiring medical assistance during international travel.
All Medi Response aeromedical evacuations are crewed by experienced medical professionals, including paramedics, doctors, and nurses trained in advanced pre-hospital and in-flight critical care. Our teams operate with clinical precision and an understanding of the urgency required in time-sensitive medical situations. Flights are operated by experienced pilots, supporting patient safety in demanding environments.
Medi Response operates a fleet of medically equipped aircraft and ambulances, configured to support critical care during transport. Aircraft are equipped with advanced life support systems suitable for transporting patients who require ongoing medical care during flight.
Aeromedical operations are supported by expert logistical teams on the ground, providing guidance and coordination.
All aeromedical evacuations are supported through structured case management, coordinated by Medi Response’s Global Coordination Centre. This centralised approach allows for effective oversight of clinical care, logistics, and communication throughout each stage of the evacuation process.
